Blood-sucking ex-humans. Immortals. Feed on human blood but can also survive with the help of animal�s, such as rats, dogs or any other available non-human-but-with-pulse. They can survive the whole night after a human meal, but the effect won�t be that long when it is of animal blood.


LIGHT

Like other vampires on you see on TV, they can�t face sunlight. Talking about risking yourself getting burn to ashes. Even if they are kept in a lightproof room, daytime means sleeping time. And the place? Of course coffins! Forget about Angel. Although he�s a vampire with soul, he still feeds on blood, (erm, in this case, pig�s liquid.) and that still makes him sunlight-UNfriendly. Oh yeah! One more thing, BULLSHIT when you see him saving vulnerable citizens during daytime. A vampire is still a vampire, no matter what!


FACING WITH ONE�

Tips when dealing with one is NOT to look directly to the eyes. No eye contacts are allowed, for it means that you�re putting your life at risk. Vampires can do mind-tricks and can �penetrate� and play with your mind. Once your mind is being clouded, they can make you think of unreal stuffs, which can be beautiful or ugly, and that�s how they obtain their victims most of the times. The problem is, you won�t realize that your life is at stake. What a bastard!


VAMPIRE JUNKIE?

This night creatures can also get the supply from a willing donor, or in this term, Junkie. Junkies are humans. What they do is basically to prepare themselves for feeding time when the vampires are about to rise. Vampires are hungry when they�re awake, (talking about no meal for 12 hours) so, these junkies will wait and when the time is finally arrive, they�ll allow their �masters� for a feed. Okay, if you�re still baffled, think of the REAL blood donors for the hospitals� blood banks.


COMMUNITY

Each territory will have a head of the vampire community who is a master vampire called Master of The City (okay, I will use the term �who� as they�re technically humans). There could be more than one master vampires in an area but not all are qualified be the Master of The City. And this post is not based on how old the vampire is. You can be a century year old vampire but that doesn�t mean that you�re capable of being the Master of The City. It�s about how powerful you are to control other vampires under you when they go berserk.

Like in the animal kingdom, to have the authority to a pack, they need to challenge the present leader in order to gain the highest level. Same goes to the vampires� rules. One normal master can challenge the existing Master if he�s strong enough.


WHAT? HUMAN SLAVE?

Every Master of The City must have a human slave. This human slave is a human (duh!) who bears marks from her master. When the fourth mark is given, she/he is totally bonded with him. (I will use �she� as most of the slaves are females.) She will share some of his powers and at the same time, he�s part of her soul. The trick when planning to kill a Master, is by destroying the human slave first. But take note that she shares some of his power and that makes her capable of throwing you to the wall without a trace of sweat.

You can still be a human after a bite. But the bite means that you are for him to call. If you�re contaminated, he�ll gain a full control of you and you can�t escape one, not until you �cleanse� yourself. The process is like detoxifying, but with a great deal of pain to stand.


TIPS, TIPS, TIPS TO KILL, KILL, KILL

To slay a vampire, one needs to aim for the heart. The old method of course is using stakes. But in this hi-tech world, we can always use gadgets that won�t require a close encounter, as long as they�re able to take the heart out. Yep! Bless to the one who created guns. The ammos used are not of the normal ones. I�m talking about silver, coated or non-coated. Browning with Glazer Safety Rounds (silver-coated) will kill a man if you hit him anywhere near the center of the body and the hole will be too big for salvage, but with a typical small-kid guns, the silver bullets will only make a tiny, less-than-an-inch hole and that�ll only slow them down. They will heal, but at human-slow rate. Head can be the alternative when you don�t want to take the chance of missing the heart. But make sure you burst the whole head or you�ll only make things worse! Happy hunting!
