::..Oh Dear God, I Thank Thou For The Marvelous Day..::
Just a day away from the 2-days holiday. I really wished that it would be only for a day. Had a rotten start as the car engine refused to roar to life. Mom and me ended up taking the commuter to work. My mood became worse and at that moment, I just hope mom wouldnt try to be cute. Hooray for her! Guess shes learnt from observation.
I wore my black turtleneck for two consecutive weeks, paired it up with my black hipsters. Didnt bother to follow my wear-this-today timetable. Besides, my mood wasnt suitable with any other color scheme. So, there it goes; Girl in Black.
I didnt realize that the excitement awaited me back in the office. Mr. Rozaimy sent me and Abg. Zul for a troubleshooting at level 4, the Berita Harian Dept. I hate that department. That place is so very not hip! Not to mention the people too! The place is gloomy.
Was complaining to Abg. Zul at the elevator, Huh? BH? That place? *Sigh*. There was this guy whos going up as well. Whoops! Big mouth you have there kAy! He entered the same door we headed to! Yikes! Hell with it anyways.
Mr. Rozaimy joined us 15 mins later. Problem? Solved. Another case of faulty routerhang. Restarted it and problem solved. Now this is the time when the excitement started
Zoomed to Youth Quake at the NST Dept. Problem? Failure when viewing incoming mails. Peck Wan gave up and left right after we arrived. This was the longest troubleshooting Ive ever attended and also the start for thrill-of-the-day. You see, the part-time YQ crews sat at the opposite side of where I rested my butt during the whole process. And that spot also allowed me to have a full view of them. That was when I spotted a familiar face. It took me quite a while to discover that it was Imran, a guy whom Fat and I met at Razak! No wonder his face looked familiar to me. Wanted to say hi but he was too busy chatting with the others. (some chatterbox he is). Then came this guy to our place, talking to the owner of the PC, asking how her stuff going and all, and THAT was when I started to notice him.
Ive met him a few times before but didnt really pay much attention, as hes just another casual reporter. (Yep! casual tees, pants and all.). Never thought that he actually looks boyish. (Okay, you can blame me for neglecting the glasses!). Thought I was the only one who did the stole-a-few-glances game. Caught him looking at me as well! Damn! Was I being too obvious just now? Okay, now I wasnt the only one who did that. Then it happened quite a few times and at that moment, I really had the urge to throw him my best smile but AAAAARGGGGGHH!!!!! I CHICKENED OUT! Kept pushing myself to SMILE! but was frozen right before doing it. I AM MISS PARANOID! Thats my BIGGEST weakness. Weird though as he seemed to be shy as well. Anyways, I am damn sure that he was well aware of my activity.
HelI, I am all excited. (how many times did I mention it?). At least Ill have a reason to chat him up this Monday. Im sure Mr. Rozaimy will ask me to do the NAV installation. Hehehe Yeah baby! Yeah! Hope it wont be like the time at Studio31. Naaah Im totally over it now. I really want to have something memorable to bring along after my contract ends. (silently praying) Oh God please fulfill my prayer I know that my luck with guys is erm can I say, pathetic? (Okay, now Im exaggerating and sounded PATHETIC.). Im begging You ooo dear Godplease. pretty pleaseeeeeee Let me at least have the guts to throw him a smile. eergh! I AM PATHETIC!
